In October, Dr. Holden will give an invited presentation to the Purdue University HFES Student Chapter. He will give an overview of human factors in healthcare and talk about how student members can contribute to the Society's strategic goals.

HIL members Dr. Holden and Carly Daley presented 1 podium talk, 1 poster, 2 panels, and hosted the Town Hall on Patient-Centered Human Factors and Ergonomics. Dr. Holden also spoke at the 1st Year Participants meeting and Student Career Day.

On July 1, 2018, Dr. Holden joined the IU School of Medicine as Associate Professor of Medicine, in the Division of General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. Dr. Holden also joins the Regenstrief Institute's Center for Aging Research (IUCAR) as an Investigator. Dr. Holden was formerly an affiliate scientist at IUCAR. Dr. Holden's new office is in the Regenstrief building, Room RF421, 1101 W 10th Street.
