A new 10-year mapping review of the field of patient ergonomics, authored by Holden, Cornet, and Valdez, is now available from the journal Applied Ergonomics. For a limited time, the article can be accessed free of charge.

HIL doctoral student Carly Daley, along with co-authors Monirah Al-Abdulmunem and Dr. Holden, led a paper published in top cardiology journal Heart & Lung. The paper, a systematic review of patient knowledge of heart failure, can be accessed here.

Dr. Holden is the Principal Investigator (PI) of a new project applying social network science to study and improve the change in medication safety awareness and behavior. The project is a partnership between the IU Center for Aging Research (Drs. Holden, Campbell, Boustani, and Monahan) and the IU Network Science Institute (Drs. The R2D2 trial is an R01 led by Dr. Noll Campbell of the Purdue College of Pharmacy. It will test a pharmacy-based anticholinergic deprescribing intervention for older adults. Campbell co-directs the Brain Safety Lab with Dr. Holden.
